Everything You Need to Know Before You RADIATE

We want your Radiate Retreat experience to feel effortless from the moment you arrive. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the retreat, travel, accommodations, what to expect, and how to prepare.

Where is the retreat? Radiate Retrea takes place on Longboat Key, Florida, a beautiful barrier island between Sarasota and Anna Maria Island.

We will spend much of our retreat time together at a private retreat home. For privacy and security, the exact address, arrival instructions, parking information, and access details will be provided in your registration information.

What is included in my retreat registration? Your Radiate Retreat experience includes the retreat programming and activities outlined in your registration, including:

GETTING TO LONGBOAT KEY

Which airport should I fly into? You have two convenient airport options:

Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) This is the closest airport to Longboat Key and is our recommended airport if flight schedules and pricing work for you.

Tampa International Airport (TPA) Tampa is a larger airport with many more flight options and can be a great choice if it offers a better flight or airfare.

How far is Longboat Key from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport?

SRQ → Longboat Key

• Approximately 11–15 miles, depending on your destination on the Key
• Approximately 25–30 minutes by car
• Approximately $36 average Uber fare to Longboat Key based on current Uber route estimates

Uber prices are dynamic, so your actual fare may be higher or lower depending on time of day, demand, traffic and the type of vehicle selected.

How far is Longboat Key from Tampa International Airport?

TPA → Longboat Key

• Approximately 59–62 miles by road
• Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to hour 30 minutes under typical conditions
• Approximately $99 average Uber fare based on current Uber route estimates

Traffic can significantly affect travel time, particularly during busy travel periods. Uber's current route information lists an average trip of approximately 80 minutes and $99, but actual pricing and timing are not guaranteed.

Should I rent a car? A rental car is not necessary for the retreat if you are comfortable using Uber/Lyft for airport transportation and getting around independently.

We recommend considering your personal travel plans when deciding whether to rent a car. If you plan to extend your stay, explore Sarasota, St. Armands Circle, Anna Maria Island or other nearby destinations, a rental car may be convenient.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY? Guests are responsible for booking their own accommodations on or near Longboat Key. We recommend booking your hotel as early as possible, especially if you would like to stay at one of the luxury resorts on Longboat Key.

There are also a number of smaller resorts, inns and vacation-style properties throughout Longboat Key that may be a good fit depending on your budget and preferences.

Tip: If you're attending Radiate with a friend, consider sharing a room or vacation rental to make your stay more affordable — and even more fun!

Will you arrange my hotel reservation? No. Guests are responsible for booking their own accommodations directly with the hotel or property.

Can I stay somewhere other than Longboat Key? Absolutely! You can also stay in Sarasota, St. Armands, Bradenton or nearby areas and use Uber/Lyft to get to the retreat. If you choose to stay off Longboat Key, just be sure to allow additional travel time for traffic when planning your arrival and departure.
